Julia & Brent Engagement Photos

When it comes to engagement photos, it is important for the couple to feel comfortable. Bringing a pet or some other activity that they are into can go a long way to keep the session fun and loose.

Julia and Brent brought along their little fur baby Syd and included him in a few of the engagement photos.

From there we did some portraits along the beautiful old rail bridge off Hwy 240.

We even put the drone up for a few unique perspectives involving the beautiful bridge and landscape.

I added in some silhouettes and a few other creative shots to round out the session and provide a good variety of photos for their session.

One of my favourite pictures to create for engagement photos is the “Champagne Shot”. It involves off camera flash to light up the couple and to show all the champagne flying in the air.

With Covid-19 running so rampant throughout Manitoba lately, it’s been difficult to legally do many shoots but I’m looking forward to a busy summer/fall with family pictures, grad sessions, and some weddings.
